A short-term let is a business with an interior attached. The design has a number attached to it, and the number is your occupancy.
The first photograph does the selling
Guests scroll. One image decides whether they stop. That image needs a room with a clear focal point, real depth and light that looks like the light they will actually get. Most listings lose the booking before anybody reads a word.
Design for the five-star review
Reviews are rarely about how beautiful the place was. They are about whether there was somewhere to put a suitcase, whether the bed was genuinely comfortable, whether the shower ran hot, whether there was a decent lamp to read by. Those are design decisions and they can be made deliberately.
It has to survive
Everything gets specified for turnover. Finishes that clean. Fabrics that take a scrub. Furniture that does not loosen after forty guests. Things that break are chosen so they can be replaced without redoing the room.
Where to spend
Beds, mattresses, lighting and the bathroom. That is where the money returns. Almost everywhere else you can be clever rather than expensive, and guests will not know the difference.
A paid service
This is a full design engagement aimed at the letting itself, not a styling afternoon. Owners take it on because it changes what the property earns.

Nothing in that category yet. Call Kasia and ask, because there is usually more than is published.
She understood what I wanted before I could say it.
She somehow always understood exactly what I wanted. Really good with understanding the vibe.
Understood exactly what I wanted, even the things I could not quite put into words.
It freed me up to focus on other jobs while this one was getting organised by Kasia.
