Privacy Policy
This page explains what Kasia Barrie Design does with your information. It is written to be read rather than to be impressive.
Who we are
Kasia Barrie Design, an interior design business operating across Glasgow, Central Scotland and Ayrshire. For anything on this page, contact kasia.barrie.design@gmail.com or ring 07936 072542.
What we collect, and why
When you request a consultation
Your name, and whichever of your phone number, email address and postcode you give us, along with what you are interested in and anything you write in the message box. We use it to call you back and to discuss your project. The lawful basis is legitimate interest: you asked us to get in touch.
When you join the newsletter
Your email address, the page you signed up from, the date, and a record of the consent you gave. We send a confirmation email first and add you to the list only if you open the link in it. The lawful basis is consent, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
When you visit the site
Aggregate analytics about pages visited and how people move through the site. This does not identify you and is not sold to anybody. You can opt out using the notice at the bottom of the page.
Who else sees it
Our website host, and our email provider so that mail can be delivered. Nobody buys your details from us because we do not sell them. If you become a client, we share what is needed with the trades working on your project, and nothing more.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for two years so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Records relating to completed projects are kept for six years, which is the period Scots law allows a claim to be brought.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, object to us using it, or ask for it in a portable format. Write to the address above and we will answer within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled something, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
